Adhyāya 45 — Duryodhana’s Distress, Śakuni’s Counsel, and the Summons for Dyūta
Even in politically charged or hostile settings, dharma expresses itself through disciplined conduct—honoring elders, observing protocol, and fulfilling one’s assigned responsibility without needless insult or disorder.
The narrator reports movements of key figures: Bhīma proceeds in the company of Bhīṣma and Dhṛtarāṣṭra, while Sahadeva escorts Droṇa along with his son (Aśvatthāman), indicating an orderly, formal procession or accompaniment among prominent Kuru and Pāṇḍava figures.
