Educational Q&A

When auspicious divine symbols withdraw, it signals a moral and cosmic turning-point; the appropriate response is not clinging but purification and re-alignment with dharma—here expressed as undertaking tīrtha-yātrā, a disciplined movement toward sacred order and inner restraint.

Celestial apsarases seize and lift away the two great standards associated with Balarāma and Kṛṣṇa, then continuously announce that people should depart on pilgrimage. The episode functions as an omen indicating imminent upheaval and the closing of Kṛṣṇa’s visible presence in the world.
