भ्रातृभावेन पृथिवीं भुड़क्ष्व पाण्ड्सुतैः सह । बाण-शय्यापर सोये हुए महात्मा भीष्मने अर्जुनसे पानी माँगा और उन्होंने इसके लिये पृथ्वीको छेद दिया। इस प्रकार पाण्डुपुत्र अर्जुनके द्वारा प्रकट की हुई उस जलधाराको देखकर महाबाहु भीष्मने दुर्योधनसे कहा--“तात! पाण्डवोंके साथ संधि कर लो। संधिसे वैरकी शान्ति हो जायगी

Transliteration

bhrātṛbhāvena pṛthivīṃ bhukṣva pāṇḍusutaiḥ saha |

Translation

Wika ni Dhṛtarāṣṭra: “Pamahalaan at tamasahin ninyo ang daigdig na ito kasama ng mga anak ni Pāṇḍu, sa diwa ng pagkakapatiran.”
