Wika ni Sañjaya: Sa kasagsagan ng labanan, si Bhīma ay tinamaan at nabutas ng palasong may palamuting ginto. Ganito ang digmaan—maging ang pinakamatipuno ay pinapasan ang kirot at nananatiling matatag sa gitna ng walang humpay na karahasan.
संजय उवाच
