प्रपतन्तं रथात् कर्ण पश्यन्तु वसुधाधिपा: । “आज तुम्हारे बाणोंसे पीड़ित हुए भूमिपाल दीन और विषादयुक्त होकर हाहाकार मचाते हुए कर्णको रथसे नीचे गिरता देखें
prapatantaṁ rathāt karṇa paśyantu vasudhādhipāḥ |
Sinabi ni Sañjaya: “Hayaang masaksihan ng mga hari sa lupa si Karṇa na bumagsak mula sa kanyang karwahe—tinamaan at pinahirapan ng iyong mga palaso—habang ang mga pinahihirapang pinuno, nilulunod ng pangungulila at kawalang-pag-asa, ay sumisigaw ng panaghoy.”
