अहं त्वामनुजानामि जहि कर्ण धनंजय । मन्युं च मा कृथा: पार्थ यन्मयोक्तोडसि दारुणम्,धनंजय! मैं तुम्हें आज्ञा देता हूँ, कर्णका वध करो। पार्थ! मैंने जो तुमसे कठोर वचन कहा है, उसके लिये खेद न करना
ahaṃ tvām anujānāmi jahi karṇa dhanañjaya | manyuṃ ca mā kṛthāḥ pārtha yan mayokto 'si dāruṇam ||
Sinabi ni Yudhiṣṭhira: “Ipinagkakaloob ko sa iyo ang pahintulot—patayin mo si Karṇa, O Dhanañjaya. At O Pārtha, huwag kang magkimkim ng sama ng loob dahil sa mabibigat na salitang nasabi ko sa iyo.”
