उवाच भरतश्रेष्ठ प्रसीदेति पुन: पुनः । क्षमस्व राजन यत्र प्रोक्त धर्मकामेन भीरुणा

Transliteration

uvāca bharataśreṣṭha prasīdeti punaḥ punaḥ | kṣamasva rājan yatra proktaṃ dharmakāmena bhīruṇā ||

Translation

Sinabi ni Sañjaya: Humarap siya sa pinakadakila sa angkan ng Bharata at paulit-ulit na nakiusap, “Magpala ka, magpala ka, O hari. Patawarin mo ako sa mga salitang di nararapat na aking nasambit—nasabi sa takot, ngunit udyok ng hangaring itaguyod ang dharma.”
