Shloka 41
याम्येष भीम॑ समरात् प्रमोकुं सर्वात्मना सूतपुत्रं च हन्तुम् । तव प्रियार्थ मम जीवितं हि ब्रवीमि सत्यं तदवेहि राजन्
yāmy eṣa bhīmaṃ samarāt pramoktuṃ sarvātmanā sūtaputraṃ ca hantum | tava priyārthaṃ mama jīvitaṃ hi bravīmi satyaṃ tad avehi rājan ||
Sabi ni Sañjaya: “Ako’y paparoon ngayon—upang iligtas si Bhīma mula sa sikip ng labanan at, sa buong lakas ng aking pagkatao, upang ipabagsak si Karṇa, ang anak ng tagapagmaneho ng karwahe. Ang aking buhay ay para lamang sa paglilingkod sa minamahal mo. Katotohanan ang sinasabi ko; unawain mo itong mabuti, O Hari.”
