दुःशासनवधः (Duḥśāsana-vadha) — Bhīma’s vow-fulfillment in combat
संघर्षेण महाराज पावक: समजायत | महाराज! आकाशमें परस्पर टकराते हुए बाणसमूहोंकी रगड़से आग प्रकट हो जाती थी
saṅgharṣeṇa mahārāja pāvakaḥ samajāyata | mahārāja ākāśe parasparaṁ ṭakarāte hue bāṇasamūhānāṁ ragaḍase agniḥ prakaṭaḥ bhavati sma ||
Wika ni Sanjaya: O dakilang hari, sa tindi ng pagkikiskisan ng sagupaan, ang apoy mismo’y sumilang. Tunay, O Mahārāja, nang magsalpukan sa himpapawid ang nagkakapal na mga palaso, ang kanilang pagkikiskisang nagngangalit ay nagpalitaw ng liyab—gayong kabangis ang labanan na wari’y pati mga sangkap ng kalikasan ay tumutugon sa dahas nito.
