अर्जुनस्य शीघ्रप्रयाणं भीम-शकुनियुद्धं च
Arjuna’s Rapid Advance and the Bhīma–Śakuni Encounter
प्रत्यदृश्यत् ततः कर्ण: पज्चालांस्त्वरितो ययौ | उस समय पाण्डवों तथा हमलोगोंमेंसे कोई भी योद्धा युद्धसे मुँह फेरकर पीछे हटता नहीं दिखायी दिया। तब कर्णने तुरंत ही पांचालोंपर आक्रमण किया ।।
pratyadṛśyat tataḥ karṇaḥ pāñcālāṁs tvarito yayau |
Sinabi ni Sañjaya: Nang makita niyang walang sinuman sa mga Pāṇḍava o sa ating mga mandirigma ang waring tumatalikod sa labanan, si Karṇa ay agad na sumugod nang mabilis laban sa mga Pāñcāla, itinutulak pasulong ang sagupaan sa walang humpay na bugso ng digmaan.
