अर्जुनस्य शीघ्रप्रयाणं भीम-शकुनियुद्धं च
Arjuna’s Rapid Advance and the Bhīma–Śakuni Encounter
तस्यास्यतोअर्धचन्द्रा भ्यां बाहू परिघसंनिभौ । पूर्णचन्द्रा भवक्त्रं च क्षुरेणाभ्यहरच्छिर:
tasyāsyato 'rdhacandrābhyāṃ bāhū parighasaṃnibhau | pūrṇacandrābhavaktraṃ ca kṣureṇābhyaharac chiraḥ ||
Wika ni Sañjaya: Habang patuloy na nagpapabuhos ng mga palaso ang mandirigmang iyon, pinutol ni Arjuna ang dalawang bisig—makapal at matibay na parang pamalo ng bakal—sa pamamagitan ng dalawang palasong hugis gasuklay; at saka, sa isang palasong matalas na parang labaha, pinugot din niya ang ulo nito, na ang mukha’y marikit na gaya ng kabilugan ng buwan.
