(Karṇa-parva Adhyāya 43) — Kṛṣṇa’s Battlefield Assessment and the Reversal Around Bhīma

The verse frames Karna’s appeal to remembered testimony: he urges Śalya to retain in mind a prior authoritative statement made by a learned Brahmin in the Kuru court, implying that ethical or strategic counsel gains weight when grounded in respected, witnessed speech.
Karna addresses Śalya directly, announcing that he will recount additional remarks once spoken to him by an eminent Brahmin in the Kaurava assembly; the line then transitions into a descriptive fragment about drinking milk at Yugandhara and staying at a place connected with Acyuta, setting up the next portion of the narration.
