Karṇa’s Pressure on the Pāñcālas; Duryodhana Disabled; Arjuna’s Counter-Advance
अथ काका: प्रजहसुर्ये तत्रासन् समागता:,हंसस्य पतितं काको बलवानाशुविक्रम: । तब वहाँ आये हुए सारे कौए जोर-जोरसे हँसने लगे और आपसमें बोले--“भला यह हंस एक ही उड़ानसे सौ प्रकारकी उड़ानोंको कैसे जीत सकता है? यह कौआ बलवान् और शीघ्रतापूर्वक उड़नेवाला है; अतः सौमेंसे एक ही उड़ानद्वारा हंसकी उड़ानको पराजित कर देगा'
atha kākāḥ prajahasuḥ ye tatrāsan samāgatāḥ | haṃsasya patitaṃ kāko balavān āśu-vikramaḥ ||
Pagkaraan, ang mga uwak na nagkatipon doon ay sumabog sa malalakas na halakhak at nag-usap-usap: “Tingnan ninyo ang sisne—napababa! Paano magwawagi ang sisne, na iisa lamang ang paraan ng paglipad, laban sa sandaang paraan? Malakas at mabilis ang uwak na ito; kaya sa isa lamang sa sandaang paglipad, matatalo niya ang paglipad ng sisne.”
