Saṃśaptaka-Varūthinī Saṅgrāma — Binding and Counter-Binding
The verse highlights the ethical tension between contentment and desire: even after receiving an extraordinary opportunity (access to Arjuna), a person may still feel it insufficient; the speaker frames generosity as extending to whatever the recipient truly seeks, revealing how boons can feed further longing rather than end it.
In Sañjaya’s report, a conditional promise is stated: if the person capable of arranging a meeting/vision of Arjuna is not satisfied with that offer, then an additional boon will be granted—any boon the person personally chooses.
