कर्णेन युधिष्ठिरानीकविदारणम् / Karṇa’s Breach of Yudhiṣṭhira’s Battle-Line
न हन्यादिति कर्तव्यो न शोको व: कथज्चन । हतानित्येव जानीत बाणेनानेन चासुरान्,तब महादेवजीने पुन: इन्द्र आदि देवताओंसे कहा--“शायद ये दैत्योंको न मारें' ऐसा समझकर तुम्हें किसी प्रकार भी शोक नहीं करना चाहिये। तुमलोग असुरोंको इस बाणसे “मरा हुआ' ही समझो”
na hanyād iti kartavyo na śoko vaḥ kathañcana | hatān ity eva jānīta bāṇenānena cāsurān |
Wika ng Matandang Ninuno: “Huwag ninyong isipin, ‘Hindi sila dapat patayin.’ Huwag magkaroon ng anumang dalamhati sa inyo. Alamin ninyo na ang mga Asura ay para bang napatay na ng palasong ito.”
