Wika ni Karna: “Ako ang magiging punong kumander mo—walang alinlangan dito. Manatiling matatag, O dakilang hari; ituring mong talo na ang mga Pāṇḍava.”
कर्ण उवाच
The verse highlights wartime leadership through assurance and steadfastness: Karna seeks to remove doubt, urging the king to remain firm. Ethically, it also illustrates how loyalty and martial confidence can harden into certainty, sometimes ignoring the deeper moral and karmic stakes of the conflict.
In the Karṇa Parva, Karna addresses the Kaurava king (Duryodhana) and promises to serve as commander-in-chief. He encourages the king to be resolute and declares the Pāṇḍavas as already defeated, projecting confidence to bolster Kaurava morale.
