Droṇānīka-praveśa: Arjuna’s respectful appeal to Droṇa and renewed advance toward Jayadratha (द्रोणानीकप्रवेशः)
गुरूणां च प्रसादेन वेदानिच्छामि वेदितुम् | स्वधर्मेणाविहिंस्यान्यान् धनमिच्छामि चाक्षयम्
gurūṇāṃ ca prasādena vedānicchāmi veditum | svadharmeṇāvihiṃsyānyān dhanamicchāmi cākṣayam |
Wika ni Nārada: “Sa biyaya ng aking mga guro, nais kong makilala ang mga Veda. At, nang hindi nananakit ng iba, mamuhay ayon sa sarili kong dharma, ninanais ko ang yamang hindi naglalaho.”
नारद उवाच
The verse links true prosperity to ethical restraint and right conduct: Vedic knowledge is sought through the grace of teachers, and wealth is desired only in a way consistent with svadharma and without harming others (ahiṃsā).
In Nārada’s narration, a boon is being requested: the speaker asks for Vedic understanding through the favor of gurus and for imperishable wealth gained while adhering to one’s own dharma and avoiding injury to others.
