नारायणास्त्र-शमनं द्रौणि-प्रहारश्च
Pacification of the Nārāyaṇāstra and Drauni’s Renewed Assault
सादी सादिनमासाद्य पत्तयश्न पदातिनम्
sādī sādinam āsādya pattayaś ca padātinam
Sinabi ni Sañjaya: Nang makalapit na sa tagapagmaneho at sa mandirigmang nasa karwahe, ang mga kawal na naglalakad ay sumulong din laban sa kapwa impanterya. Sumikip ang labanan sa dikitang sagupaan, kung saan bawat uri ng mandirigma’y hinanap ang katapat niyang kauri, at nahayag ang mabagsik na batas ng digmaan: husay laban sa husay, lakas laban sa lakas, at lalo pang tumindi ang pagpatay.
