द्रोणपर्व — पञ्चदशोऽध्यायः (Droṇa Parva, Chapter 15): युधिष्ठिर-रक्षा तथा अर्जुनस्य शरवृष्टिः
न हि मद्राधिपादन्य: सर्वराजसु भारत | सोदुमुत्सहते वेगं भीमसेनस्य संयुगे,भरतनन्दन! समस्त राजाओंमें मद्रराज शल्यके सिवा दूसरा कोई ऐसा नहीं था, जो युद्धमें भीमसेनके वेगको सहनेका साहस कर सके
na hi madrādhipād anyaḥ sarvarājasu bhārata | soḍhum utsahate vegaṃ bhīmasenasya saṃyuge bharatanandana ||
Wika ni Sañjaya: “O Bhārata, sa lahat ng mga hari, wala nang iba kundi si Śalya, panginoon ng Madra, ang may lakas-loob na tiisin ang rumaragasang pagsalakay ni Bhīmasena sa labanan, O ligaya ng angkan ng Bharata.”
