अलंबलवधः (Alaṃbala-vadhaḥ) / The Slaying of Alaṃbala and the Advance toward Karṇa
स तथा शरवर्षाभ्यां सुमहद्भ्यां महाभुज: । पीड्यमान: परामार्तिमगमद् रथिनां वर:,इस प्रकार दो दिशाओंसे होनेवाली उस भारी बाणवर्षसे पीड़ित हो रथियोंमें श्रेष्ठ महाबाहु अर्जुन अत्यन्त व्यथित हो उठे
sa tathā śaravarṣābhyāṃ sumahadbhyāṃ mahābhujaḥ | pīḍyamānaḥ parāmārtim agamad rathināṃ varaḥ ||
Sinabi ni Sañjaya: Kaya nga, nang salakayin siya ng napakalakas na ulang ng mga palaso mula sa dalawang panig, si Arjuna na may dakilang bisig—pinakamahusay sa mga mandirigmang nasa karwahe—ay napasailalim sa matinding pagdiin at nalugmok sa sukdulang dalamhati.
