ततो दुर्योधनवच: श्रुत्वा भारत दुर्मुख:
tato duryodhanavacaḥ śrutvā bhārata durmukhaḥ
Sinabi ni Sañjaya: Pagkaraan nito, O Bhārata, nang marinig ni Durmukha ang mga salita ni Duryodhana, siya’y tumugon—hinubog ang kanyang tugon ng katapatan sa kanyang hari at ng tumitigas na pasya ng kampo ng Kaurava sa gitna ng bigat na moral ng digmaan.
