दुर्योधन-कर्ण-संवादः
Duryodhana–Karna Dialogue on Vyūha-bheda and Daiva
अथ द्रोणं समारोहच्चेकितानो महाबल: । स द्रोणं दशभिर्विद्ध्वा प्रत्यविद्धयत् स्तनान्तरे
atha droṇaṃ samārohac cekitāno mahābalaḥ | sa droṇaṃ daśabhir viddhvā pratyaviddhayat stanāntare ||
Wika ni Sañjaya: Pagkaraan, ang makapangyarihang si Cekitāna ay sumugod nang tuwid kay Droṇa. Tinuhog niya si Droṇa ng sampung palaso, at saka tumugon sa ganting-atake, sinugatan siya sa pagitan ng dibdib. Ipinakikita ng tagpong ito ang walang-humpay na pagsuklian ng dahas sa digmaan—na ang galing at pagganti ay nangingibabaw sa pagpipigil, kahit laban sa iginagalang na gurong mandirigma.
