अथैनं शरवर्षेण समन्तात्‌ पर्यवाकिरन्‌ । पर्वतं वारिधाराभि: शरदीव बलाहका:

Transliteration

athainaṁ śaravarṣeṇa samantāt paryavākiran | parvataṁ vāridhārābhiḥ śaradīva balāhakāḥ ||

Translation

Wika ni Sañjaya: Pagkaraan, mula sa lahat ng panig ay binuhusan nila siya ng ulang-palaso, tinakpan siya sa paligid—gaya ng mga ulap sa taglagas na nagbubuhos ng mga agos ng tubig sa isang bundok. Itinatampok ng taludtod ang di-personal at nakalulunod na puwersa ng digmaan, kung saan sinusubok ang husay at tatag sa gitna ng walang-humpay na karahasan.
