नैष शक््यो हि संग्रामे जेतुं भूतेन केनचित् । तत्र गच्छत भद्रंं वो राजानं परिरक्षत,“इसे कोई भी प्राणी संग्राममें जीत नहीं सकता, अतः आपका कल्याण हो, वहाँ जाइये और राजा दुर्योधनकी रक्षा कीजिये
sañjaya uvāca | naiṣa śakyo hi saṅgrāme jetuṃ bhūtena kenacit | tatra gacchata bhadraṃ vo rājānaṃ parirakṣata |
Wika ni Sanjaya: “Sa labanang ito, hindi siya magagapi ng alinmang nilalang. Kaya nawa’y mapasa inyo ang kabutihan—pumaroon kayo agad at ipagtanggol ang hari (Duryodhana).”
संजय उवाच
The verse underscores the ethic of duty-bound loyalty in wartime: when a leader is threatened, allies are urged to set aside hesitation and act decisively to protect him, especially when the opposing force is judged unconquerable.
Sanjaya reports an urgent assessment from the battlefield: a particular warrior is deemed impossible to defeat, so the listeners are instructed to hurry to that front and focus on safeguarding King Duryodhana.
