भीष्मशिबिरगमनम् — Duryodhana’s Visit to Bhīṣma’s Camp and the Command Appeal
सो<र्जुनेन समाज्ञप्तो देवलोके तदा नूप । प्रीतिपूर्व महाबाहु: स्वकार्य प्रति भारत,नरेश्वरर भरतनन्दन! उन दिनों देवलोकमें अर्जुनने प्रेमपूर्वक अपने महाबाहु पुत्रको अपना सब कार्य बताते हुए कहा--
so 'rjunena samājñapto devaloke tadā nūpa | prītipūrvaṃ mahābāhuḥ svakārya prati bhārata ||
Sabi ni Sañjaya: O hari, noong panahong iyon sa daigdig ng mga diyos, ang makapangyarihang mandirigma—matapos utusan ni Arjuna—ay may pag-ibig na nagsalaysay sa kanya ng mga detalye ng kanyang sariling misyon at mga tungkulin, O inapo ni Bharata. Inilalarawan ng talata ang pag-uusap bilang nakaugat sa pagmamahal at pananagutan, at binibigyang-diin ang tapat na pagtupad sa ipinagkatiwalang gawain.
