निस्त्रिंशाश्न व्यदृश्यन्त विमलाम्बरसंनिभा: । आर्षभाणि विचित्राणि शतचन्द्राणि भारत
nistriṁśāś ca vyadṛśyanta vimalāmbara-sannibhāḥ | ārṣabhāṇi vicitrāṇi śata-candrāṇi bhārata ||
Wika ni Sañjaya: “O Bhārata, lumitaw ang mga tabak na kumikislap na wari’y malinis na puting tela, at ang mga kahanga-hangang sagisag ng toro—nagniningning na parang sandaang buwan.”
संजय उवाच
The verse implicitly contrasts the radiant beauty of weapons and emblems with their purpose in destruction, reminding the reader that outward splendor in war does not resolve the underlying ethical crisis of dharma contested through violence.
Sañjaya is describing what is visible on the battlefield: shining swords and striking insignia (notably bull-marks), portrayed with luminous comparisons (spotless cloth, a hundred moons) to convey the intense, dazzling martial scene.
