अध्याय ८० — मध्यंदिन-रणवृत्तान्तः

यदि यामि विना भीम किं मां क्षत्र॑ वदिष्यति । एकायनगते भीमे मयि चावस्थिते युधि
yadi yāmi vinā bhīma kiṁ māṁ kṣatra vadīṣyati | ekāyanagate bhīme mayi cāvāsthite yudhi ||
Sinabi ni Sanjaya: “Kung babalik ako nang wala si Bhima, ano ang sasabihin ng lipunang mandirigma tungkol sa akin? Kung si Bhima ay nag-iisang tumahak sa landas ng labanan at ako man ay narito sa digmaan, paano ako makababalik nang wala siya?”
