अध्याय ८० — मध्यंदिन-रणवृत्तान्तः
Yudhiṣṭhira–Śrutāyu encounter; Cekitāna–Gautama clash; Abhimanyu pressure; Arjuna’s redeployment
स तेषां प्रवरान् योधान् हस्त्यश्वरथसादिन: । जघान समरे शूरो धार्तराष्ट्रानाचेन्तयन्
sa teṣāṁ pravarān yodhān hastyaśvarathasādinaḥ | jaghāna samare śūro dhārtarāṣṭrān acintayan ||
Wika ni Sañjaya: Ang bayaning si Bhīmasena, na hindi man lamang ininda ang mga anak ni Dhṛtarāṣṭra, ay nagsimulang pabagsakin sa larangan ng digmaan ang kanilang pinakapiling mga mandirigma—yaong lumalaban mula sa elepante, kabayo, at karwaheng pandigma.
