जायन्ते मानवास्तत्र निष्टप्तकनकप्रभा: । गन्धमादनशज्ञेषु कुबेर: सह राक्षसै:

jāyante mānavās tatra niṣṭaptakanakaprabhaḥ | gandhamādanaśṛṅgeṣu kuberaḥ saha rākṣasaiḥ ||

Wika ni Sañjaya: Doon, ang mga tao’y isinisilang na may ningning na gaya ng gintong pinainit at pinadalisay. Sa mga tuktok ng Gandhamādana nananahan si Kubera, kasama ang kaniyang mga rākṣasa na tagapagbantay—larawan ng isang lupain na ang karangyaan ay kasabay ng mabagsik na pag-iingat, na wari’y ang kasaganaan ay binabantayan ng kapangyarihan at disiplina.
