विरथं रथिनां श्रेष्ठ भीष्मं दृष्टवा रथोत्तमा:
virathaṁ rathināṁ śreṣṭha bhīṣmaṁ dṛṣṭvā rathottamāḥ
Nang makita si Bhīṣma—ang pinakadakila sa mga mandirigmang nakakarwahe—na nakatayo nang wala ang kaniyang karwahe, ang pinakamahuhusay na mandirigmang karwahe ay nabagabag at napilitang kumilos nang madalian.
