रथे भीष्मस्य चिक्षेप यथा देवो धनेश्वर: । उधर श्वेतने क्रोधसे व्याप्त हो उस गदाको आकाशमें घुमाकर भीष्मके रथपर फेंक दिया, मानो कुबेरने गदाका प्रहार किया हो ।।

Transliteration

rathe bhīṣmasya cikṣepa yathā devo dhaneśvaraḥ | tayā bhīṣmanipātinyā sa ratho bhasmasāt-kṛtaḥ ||

Translation

At inihagis niya iyon sa karwahe ni Bhīṣma, na wari’y si Kubera, Panginoon ng Kayamanan, ang humampas gamit ang sariling gada. Sa hampas na yaong nakapagpapabagsak kay Bhīṣma, ang karwahe ay nagmistulang abo.
