अक्षरब्रह्मयोगः | Akṣara-Brahma-Yoga

The Yoga of the Imperishable Brahman

भीष्मपर्वणि तु एकोनत्रिंशो ध्याय:

sarvabhūtastham ātmānaṁ sarvabhūtāni cātmani | īkṣate yogayuktātmā sarvatra samadarśanaḥ ||

Sinabi ni Arjuna: Ang yogin na ang loob ay nakatali sa yoga at pantay ang pagtanaw sa lahat ng dako ay nakikita ang Sarili (Ātman) na nananahan sa lahat ng nilalang, at ang lahat ng nilalang na nananahan sa Sarili. Sa gitna ng pagkilos at tunggalian, itinatag ng aral na ito ang asal sa kamalayang hindi naghihiwalay: kapag iisa ang nakikitang panloob na katotohanan sa kaibigan at kaaway, kumikilos ang tao nang walang poot, walang pagkiling, at walang pag-angkin ng ego.

A yogin with disciplined mind attains samadarśana—equal vision—by recognizing one Self pervading all beings. This dissolves ego-based divisions and supports ethical action free from hatred, attachment, and partiality.

In the Bhīṣma Parva dialogue (the Bhagavad Gītā setting), Arjuna is receiving instruction on yoga and inner steadiness. This verse describes the realized yogin’s perception: the Self is seen in all beings and all beings in the Self, a vision meant to guide conduct even amid the impending battle.
