Wika ni Arjuna: (Dito nagsimulang magsalita si Arjuna, humihingi ng linaw sa tamang landas ng pagsasanay at pagtalikod sa gitna ng bigat na moral ng nalalapit na digmaan. Inilalatag ng tanong niya ang suliraning etikal: mas mainam bang hanapin ang kalayaan sa pag-urong mula sa gawa, o sa disiplinadong pagkilos na iniaalay nang walang pagkapit?)
अर्जुन उवाच
