कृष्णद्वैपायनाच्चैव तच्च सत्यं न संशय: । न च द्वेषो5स्ति मे तात त्वयि सत्यं ब्रवीमि ते
kṛṣṇadvaipāyanāccaiva tacca satyaṃ na saṃśayaḥ | na ca dveṣo 'sti me tāta tvayi satyaṃ bravīmi te ||
Sinabi ni Sanjaya: “At ang salaysay na ito’y nalalaman din ni Krishna Dvaipayana Vyasa; ang kanyang nalalaman ay totoo—walang alinlangan. Anak, wala akong poot sa iyo; sinasabi ko sa iyo ang katotohanang ito nang tapat.”
संजय उवाच
The verse emphasizes satya (truthfulness) and the ethical stance of speaking without malice: one should state what is true, grounded in reliable authority, while explicitly rejecting hatred toward the listener.
Sañjaya reassures his interlocutor that the account being discussed is confirmed as true even by the sage Vyāsa, and he clarifies that he is not speaking out of hostility but out of truthful intent.
