यः शक्तः समरे भीष्म॑ प्रतियोद्धुमिहाहवे । ऋते त्वां पुरुषव्याप्र सत्यमेतद् ब्रवीमि ते
yaḥ śaktaḥ samare bhīṣma pratīyoddhum ihāhave | ṛte tvāṃ puruṣavyāghra satyam etad bravīmi te ||
Sinabi ni Sañjaya: “Sa digmaang ito, sa larangang ito, sino ang may lakas na humarap kay Bhīṣma sa isang labanang harapan—maliban sa iyo? O tigre sa mga tao, sinasabi ko sa iyo ito bilang katotohanan.”
संजय उवाच
