तेषां समागमो घोरो बभूव युधि संगत: । अन्योन्यस्य वधार्थाय जिगीषूणां महाहवे
teṣāṃ samāgamo ghoro babhūva yudhi saṃgataḥ | anyonyasya vadhārthāya jigīṣūṇāṃ mahāhave ||
Sinabi ni Sañjaya: Naging kakila-kilabot ang kanilang pagtatagpo sa larangan ng digmaan. Sa dakilang digmaang iyon, nang magsalubong sila upang maglaban, bawat panig ay naglalayong pumatay sa kabila, udyok ng pagnanais na magwagi at manakop.
संजय उवाच
