भीमसेनस्य बहुमहारथसंयुगः

चापैश्वन बहुधा च्छिन्नैः समास्तीर्यत मेदिनी । माननीय प्रजानाथ! वरूथोंसहित टूटे हुए रथ
cāpaiś ca bahudhā chinnaiḥ samāstīryata medinī |
Wika ni Sañjaya: Ang lupa ay nabalot at natabunan sa lahat ng dako ng mga busog—marami’y basag-basag—kaya’t ang larangan ng digmaan ay wari’y nakakarpetang mga sirang kasangkapan ng pakikidigma, patotoo sa walang tigil na pagwasak na idinulot ng labanan.
