अर्जुनदुःखहेतुप्रश्नः — Inquiry into the cause of Arjuna’s recurring hardship

यज्ञवाटे च यत्‌ किंचिद्‌ हिरण्यं सविभूषणम्‌,यज्ञशालामें भी जो कुछ सुवर्ण या सोनेके आभूषण, तोरण, यूप, घड़े, बर्तन और इंटें थीं, उन सबको भी युधिष्ठिरकी आज्ञा लेकर ब्राह्मणोंने आपसमें बाँट लिया

yajñavāṭe ca yat kiñcid hiraṇyaṃ savibhūṣaṇam |

Sinabi ni Vaiśampāyana: Anumang ginto at mga palamuting ginto na nasa loob ng pook ng paghahandog ay, sa pahintulot ni Haring Yudhiṣṭhira, hinati-hati at ipinamahagi sa mga Brāhmaṇa. Ipinakikita ng tagpong ito ang diwa ng yajña bilang pampublikong gawa ng dharma: ang yamang tinipon para sa ritwal ay hindi iniipon, kundi muling ipinapamahagi bilang dakṣiṇā sa maayos at pinahihintulutang paraan.
