एवमेतदिति प्राहुस्तदभूल्लोमहर्षणम् । उनके ऐसा कहनेपर भीमसेन आदि भाइयों और द्रौपदीने एक स्वरसे कहा--'हाँ, महाराजका कहना ठीक है।” इस महान् त्यागकी बात सुनकर सबके रोंगटे खड़े हो गये
evam etad iti prāhus tad abhūl lomaharṣaṇam |
“Gayon nga,” tugon nila, at ang sandaling iyon ay nakapagpatindig-balahibo. Kahit nasabi na niya iyon, si Bhīmasena at ang iba pang magkakapatid, kasama si Draupadī, ay sumagot nang iisang tinig: “Oo—tama ang sinasabi ng hari.” Nang marinig ang salaysay ng gayong dakilang pagtalikod, ang lahat ay kinilabutan, tumindig ang mga balahibo sa pagkamangha at paggalang sa bigat ng dharma sa sakripisyong iyon.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
True ethical greatness is recognized not by force or victory but by renunciation and right judgment; when a ruler’s dharmic decision is affirmed unanimously by the virtuous, it becomes a moment of moral awe (lomaharṣaṇa).
Vaiśampāyana reports that Bhīma, the other Pāṇḍavas, and Draupadī respond together, affirming the king’s statement as correct; the narration emphasizes that the described act of great renunciation moves the listeners deeply, producing a collective sense of reverent astonishment.
