पाण्डव-वृष्णि-समागमः तथा अश्वमेध-अनुज्ञा | Reunion at the Kuru Court and Authorization of the Aśvamedha
तान् समीपगतान श्रु॒त्वा निर्ययुर्वृष्णिपुड्रवा:,वृष्णिवंशके प्रमुख वीरोंने जब सुना कि पाण्डव लोग नगरके समीप आ गये हैं, तब वे उनकी अगवानीके लिये बाहर निकले
tān samīpagatān śrutvā niryayur vṛṣṇipuṅgavāḥ
Sinabi ni Vaiśampāyana: Nang marinig na ang mga Pāṇḍava ay nakalapit na sa lungsod, ang mga pangunahing bayani ng angkang Vṛṣṇi ay lumabas upang salubungin sila—isang kilos na naaayon sa kagandahang-asal at tungkuling pangkamag-anak, tanda ng paggalang at kahandaang tumanggap ng panauhin ayon sa dharma.
