Janmaveśma-praveśa and Uttarā’s Śaraṇāgati
Entry into the Birth-Chamber and Uttarā’s Appeal
This line is a colophon, not a teaching verse. Its function is to mark the formal end of Adhyāya 67 within the Anugītā section of the Aśvamedhika Parva, attributing the narration to Vaiśampāyana.
The text is concluding a chapter: it signals that the preceding discourse/episode—identified as ‘Subhadrā’s words’—has ended, and it locates that chapter within the larger structure of the Mahābhārata (Aśvamedhika Parva → Anugītāparvan → Adhyāya 67).
