Entry into the Birth-Chamber and Uttarā’s Appeal
यद्येतत् त्वं प्रतिश्रुत्य न करोषि वच: शुभम् | सकल वृष्णिशार्दूल मृतां मामवधारय
yady etat tvaṁ pratiśrutya na karoṣi vacaḥ śubham | sakala-vṛṣṇi-śārdūla mṛtāṁ mām avadhāraya ||
Sinabi ni Vaiśampāyana: “Kung matapos mong mangako ay hindi mo tutuparin ang iyong mapalad na salita, alamin mong tiyak, O tigre sa liping Vṛṣṇi: ako’y magiging gaya ng patay—ibibigay ko ang aking buhay.”
