Adhyāya 62: Marutta’s Treasure and the Pāṇḍavas’ Auspicious Departure (मरुत्तस्य धनप्राप्त्युपक्रमः)

पौत्रस्तव महाभागो जनिष्यति महामना: । पृथ्वीं सागरपर्यन्तां पालयिष्यति धर्मत:

pautras tava mahābhāgo janiṣyati mahāmanāḥ | pṛthvīṃ sāgaraparyantāṃ pālayiṣyati dharmataḥ |

Sinabi ni Vaiśampāyana: “O pinakamainam sa mga Kuru, may isisilang na apo sa iyo—lubhang mapalad at dakila ang diwa. Maghahari siya ayon sa dharma at iingatan ang buong daigdig hanggang sa dagat na pumapalibot. Kaya, O manlulupig ng mga kaaway, iwaksi ang dalamhati; hindi na kailangang mag-alinlangan—magkakatotoo ang aking mga salita.”
