Adhyāya 42 — Mahābhūta–Indriya–Adhyātma-Vyavasthā

Brahmā’s Instruction on Elements and Faculties

इन्द्रियाणीन्द्रियार्थाश्ष महाभूतानि पञच च । सर्वाण्येतानि संधाय मनसा सम्प्रधारयेत्‌

indriyāṇīndriyārthāś ca mahābhūtāni pañca ca | sarvāṇy etāni sandhāya manasā sampradhārayet ||

Wika ni Vāyu: “Pag-isahin ang mga pandama, ang kani-kanilang mga bagay na dinaranas, at ang limang dakilang elemento; pagnilayan ang kanilang pagkakaisa at itanim nang matibay ang pagkaunawang iyon sa isip. Ang diwang etikal nito ay panloob na disiplina: ang tunay na katatagan ay nagmumula sa pagsasama ng karanasang pandama at ng elementong saligan ng katawan sa iisang mapagnilay na kamalayan, sa halip na hayaang magkawatak-watak ang isip sa mga hiwa-hiwalay na bagay.”
