ब्राह्मण उवाच
This line is a colophon rather than a doctrinal verse: it frames the preceding material as the completed twenty-sixth chapter of the Brāhmaṇa-gītā topic within the Anugītā. Its function is to mark closure and to situate the ethical/spiritual instruction within the epic’s larger structure.
The narrative pauses to record a formal end-of-chapter notice. It indicates that the discourse attributed to the brāhmaṇa speaker has reached the end of its twenty-sixth chapter within the Anugītā portion of the Aśvamedhika Parva.
