Abhaya-Itihāsa: Karma, Indriyas, and the Non-sensory Brahman
Brāhmaṇī–Brāhmaṇa Saṃvāda
ग्राह्मं दृश्यं च सत्यं वा यदिदं कर्म विद्यते | एतदेव व्यवस्यन्ति कर्म कर्मेति कर्मिण:
grāhyaṃ dṛśyaṃ ca satyaṃ vā yad idaṃ karma vidyate | etad eva vyavasyanti karma karmeti karmiṇaḥ ||
Wika ni Vāyu: “Anumang gawain na sa daigdig na ito’y kinikilalang ‘dapat tanggapin at isagawa’—gaya ng mga disiplina, pagtanggap ng inisyasyon, mga panata—at anumang ‘nakikita,’ yaong mga panlabas at nahahawakang kilos, iyon lamang ang karaniwang itinuturing ng mga tao na tunay na gawa. Yaong mga nakatuon sa paggawa ay nagpapasya na iyon lamang ang ‘karma’ at tinatawag nila itong ‘karma’.”
वायुदेव उवाच
