अध्याय ९ — धृतराष्ट्रस्य युधिष्ठिरं प्रति राजनित्युपदेशः
Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Counsel on Royal Policy to Yudhiṣṭhira
उत्तरीयै: करैश्नापि संच्छाद्य वदनानि ते । रुरुदु: शोकसंतप्ता मुहूर्त पितृमातृवत्
uttarīyaiḥ karaiś cāpi saṃchādya vadanāni te | ruruduḥ śokasaṃtaptā muhūrtaṃ pitṛmātṛvat ||
Sinabi ni Vaiśampāyana: Tinakpan nila ang kanilang mga mukha ng pang-itaas na kasuotan at ng kanilang mga kamay, at sila’y umiyak. Sinusunog ng dalamhati, umiyak sila nang ilang sandali, gaya ng mga magulang na nagdurusa sa oras ng paghihiwalay sa sariling anak.
