सुस्वरं रुरुदे धीमान्‌ मातु: पादावुपस्पृशन्‌ । फिर तो समस्त पाण्डव अपने ताऊके दर्शनकी इच्छासे बड़ी उतावलीके साथ आगे बढ़े। बुद्धिमान्‌ सहदेव तो बड़े वेगसे दौड़े और जहाँ कुन्ती थी

su-svaraṁ rurude dhīmān mātuḥ pādāv upaspṛśan |

Wika ni Vaiśampāyana: Si Sahadeva na marunong, habang hinahaplos ang mga paa ng kanyang ina, ay umiyak nang malakas sa malinaw at tumatagos na tinig.
