कुन्त्याः वनगमननिश्चयः — Kuntī’s Resolve to Depart for the Forest
माद्रीपुत्रावपि तथा हयारोहौ सुसंवृतौ । जग्मतु: शीघ्रगमनौ संनद्धकवचध्वजौ,माद्रीकुमार नकुल और सहदेव भी घोड़ोंपर सवार थे और घुड़सवारोंसे ही घिरे हुए शीघ्रतापूर्वक चल रहे थे। उन्होंने अपने शरीरमें कवच और घोड़ोंकी पीठपर ध्वज बाँध रखे थे
mādrīputrāv api tathā hayārohāḥ susaṃvṛtāḥ | jagmatuḥ śīghragamanau saṃnaddhakavacadhvajau ||
Sinabi ni Vaiśampāyana: Ang dalawang anak ni Mādrī rin—sina Nakula at Sahadeva—ay nakasakay sa mga kabayo at mahigpit na napapaligiran ng ibang mga kabalyero, kaya’t mabilis silang sumulong. Lubos silang nakahanda: nakasuot ng baluti sa katawan at may mga watawat na nakatali sa kanilang mga kabayo.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
Even in transitional phases of life and polity, dharma expresses itself as disciplined preparedness: the princes move with proper protection and order, showing responsibility toward their role and those who depend on them.
Vaiśampāyana describes Nakula and Sahadeva riding swiftly on horseback, guarded by other cavalry, fully outfitted with armour and with standards fixed to their mounts—depicting an organized, martial procession.
