Vidura’s Message to Dhṛtarāṣṭra: Authorization for Dāna and Public Welfare (विदुरवाक्यम्—दानानुज्ञा)
कामगेन विमानेन दिव्याभरण भूषित: । ऋषिपुत्रो महाभागस्तपसा दग्धकिल्बिष:,उसके समाप्त होनेपर ये राजा धृतराष्ट्र गान्धारीके साथ कुबेरके लोकमें जायँगे और वहाँ राजाधिराज कुबेरसे सम्मानित हो इच्छानुसार चलनेवाले विमानपर बैठकर दिव्य वस्त्राभूषणोंसे विभूषित हो देव, गन्धर्व तथा राक्षसोंके लोकोंमें स्वेच्छानुसार विचरते रहेंगे। ऋष्िपुत्र महाभाग धर्मात्मा धृतराष्ट्रके सारे पाप इनकी तपस्याके प्रभावसे भस्म हो जायाँगे। राजन! तुम मुझसे जो बात पूछ रहे थे, उसका उत्तर यही है
kāmagena vimānena divyābharaṇa-bhūṣitaḥ | ṛṣiputro mahābhāgas tapasā dagdha-kilbiṣaḥ ||
Nakabihis ng mga hiyas na banal, sasakay siya sa vimāna na gumagalaw ayon sa nais. Ang mapalad na anak ng isang rishi—na ang mga kasalanan ay nasunog sa pamamagitan ng tapas—ay makakamit ang marangal na kalagayan.
